Pink Jeep Tours · Tusayan
A Pink Jeep with up to nine guests drives east along Desert View Drive to the Desert View Watchtower, with stops at viewpoints on the way. Pick it for the quieter east side of the South Rim, which most day visitors never reach.

Desert View Drive runs east from Grand Canyon Village to the Desert View Watchtower. This Pink Jeep tour follows it, with stops that may include Duck on a Rock, Grandview, Moran or Lipan Point. At Grandview there is a short walk and the story of the old Grandview Hotel; at the Watchtower, the guide covers trails and Mary Colter, the architect behind many of the park's early buildings.
On the way back you may stop at one or two more viewpoints, then the tour ends at the visitor center, where your IMAX ticket is valid. The listing includes park admission for the tour only; re-entering the park later needs your own pass. Non-U.S. residents aged 16 and older should add the $100 nonresident fee (NPS).
Three hours, nine guests at most, and plenty of getting out: one guest's summary was "Quite a bit of walking! Bring snacks!" Like the shorter South Rim Pink Jeep tour, it needs upper-body strength to hold on and climb in.
